An even contested game where we saw DC a comparatively weaker side clinch the victory by 7 wickets with 8 balls to spare and chased 189+.
TOSS:- Our prediction went wrong as DC won the toss and elected to bowl. Pitch was batting paradise and in the 2nd innings, bowling will be tough for the dew factor.
1st Innings:- CSK opened with an expected Faf and highly impressive in the later stage of IPL 2020 Rituraj. But both failed to put a good score and Chennai lost early wickets. Chris Wokes and Avesh khan were impressive but Ashwin went for a lot of runs. Suresh Raina proved himself why he is the second-highest run-scorer in IPL and he played a brilliant 54 off just 36 balls. In the later stage runs kept on leaking and quick and handy innings from Jadeja(26) and Sam Curran (34) pushed a massive score of 188. Dhoni again fails to reach our expectations and went for a duck. His patch of low scores and consuming more balls is hurting CSK since IPL 2020.
2nd Innings:- It was just a two-man show. PRITHVI SHAW AND SHIKHAR DHAWAN. Both played in the form of their life and each and every bowler went for big runs. The sweetest timing of Prithvi reminds us of Master blaster Sachin. Dhawan was also equally entertaining. They single-handedly destroyed every hope of Chennai to come back in this match. They couldn't finish off the match but they set a stage where Stoinis and our pocket dynamite Rishav Pant finished off the game in style. DJ bravo with most successful bowling figures in CSK today 4-0-28-1. Others like Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur was highly disappointing

Player of the match:- S. Dhawan (85) off (54) balls decorated his innings with 10 boundaries and 2 over boundaries. A long-awaited magnificent knock from Gabbar aka Jatt-jee.
