HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Pixel 5a is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 765 SoC.

  • The Pixel 5a would resemble the Pixel 4a 5G in appearance.

  • The Pixel Watch should be released alongside the Pixel 6.

Google had to announce the Pixel 5a's appearance on purpose, as rumors of its termination were circulating at an alarming rate. Google verified the Pixel 5a to 9to5Google. The corporation has stated that the Google Pixel 5a will be released in the United States and Japan at the same time as the Pixel 4a, implying that the Google Pixel 5a would be available in August of this year.

We've learned a lot about Google's new mid-ranger thanks to leaks. According to a new leak from 9to5Google, the Pixel 5a will be powered by the same Snapdragon 765G SoC as the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. This is a 5G-capable chipset, implying that, unlike last year, the Pixel 5a will only be used in 5G.

But the Pixel 5a isn't the only Google gadget causing a stir; the Pixel Watch, which was recently leaked by tipster Jon Prosser, is also causing a stir. The Pixel Watch's overall architecture was aided by the spill.

Now that the Pixel 5a and Pixel Watch are on the horizon, we've agreed to compile what we can about them.

Scifpeications and characteristics of the Pixel 5a

The Pixel 5a has been in the news for a long time, providing us with a wealth of information. We've also seen Pixel 5a renders that look similar to the Pixel 4a 5G. The mobile is expected to have dimensions of 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm, which is almost identical to its predecessor.

Another fascinating revelation about the Pixel 5a is that it would have a narrower punch-hole. Furthermore, the punch-hole on the Pixel 5a is supposed to have a 55-pixel radius rather than the 65-pixel radius seen on previous Pixels, according to the study.

A 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate is said to be used in the Pixel 5a. A recent article from 9to5Google also confirms that the Pixel 5a will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G. The codename "Barbet," which is thought to be the Pixel 5a, and model number "sm7250," which is the Snapdragon 765G, was discovered in the newly released Developer Preview 3 file, according to the tech website.

The Snapdragon 765G is an octa-core chipset with a 2.4GHz clock speed. It's made with a 7nm production process and has an Adreno 620 GPU. The chipset is also capable of 5G, for your knowledge.

We can now see a dual-camera configuration on the Pixel 5a, which is thought to be based on the Pixel 4a 5G. This means that the camera would have a 12-megapixel main sensor and a 16-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor. The selfie camera's specifications are unclear.

Finally, the Pixel 5a's battery is scheduled to receive an upgrade. According to the article, the Pixel 5a is powered by a 3840 mAh battery that supports 20W quick charging.

Specifications and characteristics of the Pixel Watch

The Pixel Watch has also been leaked for quite some time, but we have only lately seen some clear facts about it. A reliable leaker, Jon Prosser, assisted us with the whole configuration of the Pixel Watch.

The Pixel Watch renders that are currently available are very amazing. Google appears to have taken design cues from both Apple and Samsung, with features like the digital crown, monitor wrapped around the case, and silicone brace resembling both.

Another rumor claims that the Pixel Watch is codenamed "Rohan" and will be released in October alongside the Pixel 6.

In terms of architecture, the Pixel Watch has a circular dial and a curved display that wraps around the frame. A large crown, identical to the Apple Watch, is also visible.

The smartwatch also seems to have a slimmer shape, leading many to believe that it would be a lightweight watch. The Pixel Watch body will be available in two color options: Silver and Black, according to the renders. The smartwatch is often seen with a variety of colored silicone bands, implying that it can come with interchangeable straps.

The Pixel Watch could be powered by Google's own chipset, similar to the Pixel, or by the Snapdragon Wear 4100+. SoC, which was just published. This is a quad-core CPU with a clock speed of 1.7GHz and a production process of 12nm.

With Google's acquisition of Fitbit, we could see some fitness-related features as well. In addition, Google sent out a survey asking for feedback about what features they'd like to see in Wear OS. SPO2 (oxygenation) monitoring, sleep apnea detection, sleep analysis, pulse warnings, and other features were reported in the survey.

A rumored 'BlackGhost' feature allows the watch to listen for voice commands all the time without exhausting the power. A power control integrated circuit built into the chipset is supposed to make this functionality possible.

The Pixel 5a and Pixel Watch are now available in India.

The Pixel 5a will be available in the United States and Japan, according to Google. In terms of release, the forthcoming Pixel midrange is expected to arrive in August.

The Pixel Watch, on the other hand, is expected to appear in October, coinciding with the launch of the Pixel 6.

Price of Pixel 5a and Pixel Watch in India

There have been a few price leaks for the Pixel 5a and the Pixel Watch. However, we anticipate that each of these devices will be available for less than Rs 35,000 and Rs 30,000, respectively. Streaming video
